Respect for intellectual property
GaiaStR expects Hosts, Providers, Travelers, and other users to upload or publish only content they have the right to use. If you believe content on GaiaStR infringes your copyright, you may send us a copyright complaint for review.
Copyright complaint information
A copyright complaint should identify the copyrighted work, identify the GaiaStR material you believe infringes it and where that material appears, provide your contact information, include a good-faith statement that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or law, include a statement that the information is accurate and that you are authorized to act for the copyright owner, and include your physical or electronic signature.

Counter-notices
If content you submitted is removed or restricted because of a copyright complaint and you believe the removal was a mistake or misidentification, you may send GaiaStR a counter-notice. GaiaStR will review legally sufficient counter-notices and may forward them to the original complainant as required or permitted by law.
Repeat infringement
GaiaStR may restrict or terminate accounts or listing privileges of users who repeatedly infringe intellectual-property rights or misuse the copyright complaint process, where appropriate and consistent with applicable law and GaiaStR policy.
Designated-agent registration
GaiaStR will not represent that it has completed a statutory DMCA designated-agent registration until that registration has actually been completed and verified. This page provides a reporting route while the formal registration step is tracked separately in GaiaStR’s launch compliance process.
